You may have had a PICC line or an IV Port placed for long-term IV infusion therapy, chemotherapy, or to avoid multiple needle sticks when access to a vein is necessary over an extended period of time.
If you need help managing your PICC or Port line, North Shore Health is here for you. Whether or not you are receiving outpatient infusion services through our facility, our nursing staff is here to assist you in managing the maintenance needs of your PICC line or IV Port.
