North Shore Health is located at 515 5th Ave West, Grand Marais, MN 55604. Our facility sits atop a hill overlooking the city of Grand Marais and the shores of Lake Superior.
Patients and Visitors can access North Shore Hospital via the Main Entrance from 6am - 8pm. The registration desk will be available to facilitate check-in and provide direction during these business hours. Upon entry, please note and abide by our Respiratory Illness Safety Policy in which safety protocols are followed to ensure the health and safety of our patients, residents and employees.
Outside of business hours, patients experiencing an emergency should enter through the door located at the ambulance bay, which is located around behind our facility. They will be assisted by staff on duty.

NOTE: Please do not park and leave your car under the porte-cochere drive-through area at our main entrance.
Some who visit North Shore Health may be uncertain about which entrance to use, depending on the purpose of their visit. This brief video will point you to the correct entrance. Use our front entrance for the Hospital and Care Center. We ask all visitors and patients to check in at the Registration desk (to the right of the front entrance). For the Clinic and Pharmacy, please use the side entrance. For the Emergency Drive-In, please find the garage door in the rear of our property. There is also an Emergency walk-in door to the left of the Emergency Drive-In garage.
