CONGRATULATIONS!
And just like that, we have another EMT program under our belt!
Big congratulations to cohort 4 for their successful completion of our in-house EMT program and the national psychomotor examination.
They’ll now move on to their national written test – let’s wish them all the luck and good vibes as they make this next move in their journey.
A heartfelt thank you to our motivated and engaged students, our EMS crew who assists with skills sessions, Rob Wells for his help with teaching, Meghan Flynn our education coordinator who keeps the students (and me) on track, and our state agent, Lucas Goodin (and therapy dog, Freya) who certifies our psychomotor test-outs.
It’s been an honor to offer these courses at North Shore Health and to grow our first responder base here in Cook County!
