This past weekend at the 33rd Annual Cook County Emergency Services Conference, our very own Ben Belland (EMT) was awarded the Cook County Outstanding Emergency Services Provider of the Year for his deep commitment to his community and patient care.
Throughout the years, “Belland” has served as a dispatcher, first responder, firefighter, ski patrol, and EMT. He has been a staple at Lutsen Mountains Ski Patrol, Lutsen Fire & Rescue Department, and with us at North Shore Health EMS as an EMT and Field Training Officer/Preceptor.
When the tones drop and that call for help goes out, without a doubt, Ben is someone that you want on your side.
