North Shore Health appreciates the dedicated service of the local clergy to provide for the spiritual needs of hospital patients and nursing home residents. This spiritual care includes on-site communion, in person visits, group bible studies as well as end of life spiritual support. Local clergy also provide on-call support in the hospital emergency room.

In addition, North Shore Health staff make every effort to connect patients and residents of all faiths with their designated spiritual advisors. Staff also assist patients, residents and their family and friends in providing for other spiritual needs as requested.

For more information on spiritual care coordination for patients and residents of North Shore Health, please call the facility social worker at 218-387-3261 or speak directly to nursing staff providing care.
