North Shore Health and the Serenity Garden Friends invite you to visit the Serenity Garden located on the north side of the campus between the North Shore Hospital wing and North Shore Living. The Serenity Garden is a peaceful outdoor space for reflection and healing. The garden has wheelchair accessible paths, locally-made benches, and beautiful plantings to be enjoyed by hospital patients, North Shore Living residents, visitors, employees, and community members.

This project was made possible through a grant from the Lloyd K Johnson Foundation, together with benefactor donations given in memory of Shirley and Don Hewitt and Mildred Thorsen, along with many other generous business and private donations of funds and materials.  The many dedicated volunteers of Serenity Garden Friends made this Garden a reality. A commemorative sign recognizing donations and volunteers is located in the hospital café near the Serenity Garden access.

You can help support the Serenity Garden by purchasing a tax-deductible paver etched with a meaningful inscription, a dedication in memory of a loved one, or a tribute in honor of a special person.
